Radom Corporation is a rapidly growing, early-stage company developing and marketing proprietary Microwave-Inductively-Coupled-Atmospheric-Plasma (MICAP) sources for applications in optical atomic emission spectroscopy. Radom’s nitrogen based MICAP-OES is the first analytical instrument featuring both portability and freedom from operating costs and logistics associated with argon. Radom has an immediate job opening for an experienced Application Chemist who will assist the Application Team in developing methods and customer support / training.
Radom Corporation is searching for a creative and experienced CNC Operator with strong practical and technical skills to join our in-house design team. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CNC operating experience (including CNC use in school/college), strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use manual machine shop tools, and enjoys the challenge of taking an idea from concept to prototype through creativity and individual effort. The key responsibility will be to assist the R&D team in all mechanical aspects of prototype construction, evaluation, and modifications. Assignments may include: preparing custom parts for machining, ordering material, making parts on a 3 & 4 axis CNC machine, building feasibility and prototype models under the guidance of engineers and scientists, assembling and testing mechanical assemblies and fixtures, etc.
The Product Specialist is a specialized sales consultant who can learn and become an expert with Radom MICAP-OES 1000 hardware, software and application. The skills will be applied to the sale of the product to identified target markets. As the product specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing customer relationships and growing the atomic spectroscopy market share. This will be accomplished by developing customer facing presentations, delivering webinars and specialized customer facing events. The product specialist role is a conduit for market indicator feedback to the sales, application, and marketing teams. This accurate communication of the customer’s voice provides hardware, software, and applications ideas to future development and market growth.
Radom is searching for an Entrepreneurial Electrical Engineer who will report directly to the Chief Engineer and provide leadership and broad Electrical expertise when it comes product development, design and Electrical engineering topics as related to Radom’s current products and business development strategy. The ideal candidate will have a core competency in Product design with an emphasis in laboratory style instrumentation design, verification, and productization. A background in RF and High-power circuits is required while engineering high power plasma applications involving chemical processes in equilibrium and non-equilibrium plasma. Radom is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate analytical, experimental and practical hands-on skills and can thrive in a fast-moving applied research and new product development environment.

Assignments may include, but are not limited to: carrying out experiments, building feasibility and prototype models under the guidance of engineers, troubleshooting, and reporting / documenting results of tests and measures, assemble and test PCBAs, create simple schematics, drawings and sketches, generating production work instructions, product assembly.
